So peaceful. Hippos on the lawn at night (from a safe distance!), fish eagles in the morning. The fireplace made the evenings cosy.

Lovely house right on the water. Great for a family weekend away from Nairobi — only 90 minutes' drive.

We cycled through Hell's Gate and came back to a hot shower and a BBQ by the lake. Perfect weekend.

Big, clean and beautifully kept. The caretaker was so helpful with directions and firewood.
